I’ve been asked a few times recently for information on how I photograph my models. I wrote an article on my setup back in 2015 but several things have changed since then so I have now updated this – in particular I’ve added information on how I achieve the pure black background seen in most…

Panzer TaHK has been using our Imperial Gothic Script transfers to great effect, making custom purity seals for his awesome Space Wolves! The parchment is made from thin copper sheet, painted, with small sections of the transfers cut out and applied. These are then sealed with a protective clear coat and will be gently bent…

New transfer sheets for red unit markings – Tactical Arrows, Assault Arrows, Heavy Arrows and Iron Crosses – are now available in the shop.
The first batch of waterslide transfers / decal sheets are printed and ready to go! These are Latin text blocks, similar to those you may have seen on my vehicles, banners etc. And Roman numerals in black and white, useful for squad, company and unit markings on both vehicles and infantry.

At long last, my old Blood Angels painting guide has been improved, updated and streamlined, and is now available to purchase and download as highly detailed PDF. I hope you find it useful!

Hear me wax lyrical about my Raptors, 40k, miniature painting, The Mighty Brush and the hobby in general with the guys at the Plastic Posse Podcast! https://plasticpossepodcast.buzzsprout.com/1307707/8139524-episode-16

This an awesome piece of work! It has highly useful tips on how to apply shades and highlights with the airbrush as well as edge highlightning with a normal brush. It also provides an extensive color guide. However, it does not use the “official” Ultramarines Blue (Macragge Blue). Instead, a more “icy” blue is used. Despite of this, you can still use the fabulous tips in the guide to apply the colors you want, but you will have to figure the tones on your own. Highly recommended!
Thank you Maldo!
