My first time painting a Nid!
For the colour scheme I went for my own take on Hive Fleet Leviathan with the pinkish flesh, but with green-grey instead of purple for the carapace.
It was a lot of fun to paint something organic, instead of all the armour 😀

Love the paint job! I’m starting my own Tyranid army and the I really like the base Leviathan colors except for the purple carapace. The colors you chose are awesome and really vibe with what I’m trying to do which is close to how tyranids look from the box with slight changes. Could you tell me what paints you used as your work looks fantastic.

For the carapace I used Vallejo Model Air 71.056 Panzer Dark Grey for the base colour (applied with a brush, not airbrush). The streaks were made with two oil paints, both Abteilung: ABT035 Buff and ABT170 Light Grey.
