what was your colour palette for the cloak? lovely work, as always.
Thanks! I believe I used Vallejo Model Color Burnt Umber, Iraqi Sand, Pale Sand and Offwhite on the cloak. And a brown oil wash.
The cloak work is very cool, but your face/head painting is fantastic. Perfect tone and so much personality coming through there. Do you have any tips?
Beautiful model. Cheers.
Thanks Brent! I use mainly washes to paint faces. I start with a very light base colour all over, and some white highlights. Then I use Reikland Fleshshade all over, Druchii Violet around the eyes, Carroburg Crimson around the nose and mouth. I will try to do a tutorial at some point, but it’s a pretty simple and easy method honestly 🙂
Please do a tutorial anyway, I really like how your marines look.
