For the gold on this I used the excellent Vallejo METAL Color Gold. It’s primarily for airbrushing, but it can be brush painted as well. It’s very thin, so you have to apply it sparingly so it doesn’t run. But it’s very opaque, so covers pretty much in a single coat.
I used Sepia and Agrax washes for shading, mixed with a little Lahmian Medium, and Vallejo Model Air Silver for some small edge highlights.
Was the red armour painted using the PDF guide with Inks, or using the original website guide with VMC paints? Or something else?! 😀
